Relaunch of Supcompany.com release is in stride with Annual Outdoor Retailer Convention
Costa Mesa, CA (January 19, 2012) – Leading stand up paddle board company SUPCO this week relaunched it’s website, designed and built by full service digital agency Zinc Solutions. The new Supcompany.com ties the energetic community of stand up paddle surfers together through lifestyle-focused content featuring pro athletes, videos, social channels, news and events, all in one dynamic environment.
Heightened branding and user experience improvements were the primary digital goals for SUPCO. With new navigation tools, surfers can search by skill level, price, collection and even categories based on where they paddle board, or learn more about SUPCO’s extensive line of boards, paddles and gear. Each board is spotlighted on a “details” page that brings the board to life through high-quality images, specs, and product videos. The new homepage puts the focus on SUPCO’s design style and performance features.
Previously, site visitors had to be intimately familiar with SUPCO’s boards to browse products, but the new site has more intuitive organization. Now users can check out boards for style, shape, skill set,– even paddle destination – and view and price the boards with different length, colors and other customizations. Now the product experience lets paddlers know how each element of a board matters and how the new site lets experts explore every SUPCO product.
The revised supcompany.com, built on a custom Magento Enterprise ecommerce platform and WordPress blog and content management system, launches in tandem with the Outdoor Retailer convention. The launch marks first foray into the wholesale business and promises to provide a great tool with which SUPCO can build their B2B channel.
